Both my husband and I have been in the oilfield industry since 1977. It has moved us to several locations: New Orleans, LA 12 yrs, Lafayette, LA 3 yrs, Midland, TX 3 yrs and Houston, TX 6 yrs. This will more than likely be our stopping point until retirement. But who can retire now days?? Our son is an Aggie and in the Chemistry field. He also would like to be in the oilfield business as well. I'm like.......WHY? What is it about apples falling from trees? Now how does that go?

My favorite memories are primarily band related. We all worked so hard and we always were rated number one. Mr Brinson was very demanding, but we strived to do our best and to please him. We were all a very close knit bunch and had some wonderful band trips in our three years at Pampa High. The day a lot of us walked out of school in protest of the dress code was another one. Pep rallies were always fun when we would yell out our class slogan and see if we were the loudest from the other classes. I think we were the loudest, of course!
