I graduated from Texas Tech in 1976.
I was a child protective worker in Pampa until 1992 when I moved to Montana.
I lived in Deer Lodge, Montana from 1992 to 1998 where I ran a Head Start Program and my own dance studio.
I met the love of my life, John in 1993 and we married in 1994.
We moved to Kalispell, Montana in 1998. At the time my husband was full time Army National Guard and this was his next duty station. In 2001 we moved to Helena, Montana where I began working for the low income energy assistance program and also did choreography for summer musicals for a theater group. My husband taught ROTC at the local catholic college until 2005 when he retired. I now work for the State of Montana in child and family services, and my husband John also works for the State of Montana.
My son Brock graduated from the University of Montana in 2002 and went to DC where he worked for our Representative, Denny Reberg. He then came back to Montana for 2 years and was a recruiter at Carroll College. In 2006 he went back to DC and worked for the Bureau of Reclamation and then as a polictical director in the Bush White House until the end of the Administration. He just completed running a congressional campaign in Oregon.
Amy graduated from West Texas A & M in 2005 with a degree in social work. She currently works for the state as a child protective worker and is also working on her MSW. She is getting married in May.
We as a family met President Bush in November 2008 and had a picture taken with him in the Oval Office, what an exciting experience.
My husband and I continue to live in Helena with our 2 dogs and 3 cats. I guess that is my life in a nutshell.
We recently left Montana and have moved to Fort Worth, Texas to be close to my daughter, her husband and our one and only amazing grandchild Finley.
