Steven Ray Morgan June 16, 1953 - July 24, 2013
Steve passed this afternoon at about 3PM For all my Pampa friends, class of 71, I know you will remember Steve's family in your prayers this coming week. I know he is being buried in Arkansas, don't have any details but I think he wanted a small family service. Steve was a masters level graduate of TAMU, but I never held it against him. He was a ...great friend, always willing to listen and to laugh, often at our own shenanigans. We learned to water ski together, burned the clutch out of my only ever Corvette, and eventually became brothers in Christ. We spent graduation night from HS sitting in the parking lot talking about the years to come. Knowing we would never have the time to spend with each other like we had had, we needed a symbol of our friendship and both being the creative individuals we were, we came up with X. So Steve, looking forward to our next meeting brother, be there to meet me please. X
