Richard Allen Stroud, 61, of Pampa, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, in Pampa. 

Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Monty Joiner of Somerville Church of Christ, officiating.  Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. 

Mr. Stroud was born Feb. 5, 1953 in Pampa where he was a lifelong resident and attended Pampa schools.  He married Jayne McCausland in Pampa.  She preceded him in death in 2010.  He worked as a machinist for several years for PeeWee Romines, Panhandle Industrial, 3-J Machine Shop.  After his career as a machinist, he worked for UPS for the last 10 years.  In his spare time, he liked to play golf, bowl, and play softball.  He will be remembered as a devoted brother and husband, who spent the last years of his life caring for his wife. 

Survivors include 3 brothers, Larry Stroud and wife Debbie, Jerry Stroud and wife Brenda, and Jim Stroud and wife Jan, all of Pampa; and a host of nieces and nephews.  Richard was also preceded in death by his parents, W. D. “Dee” and Florence Stroud.
