Ellen Jeanne Batman 
(May 26, 1953 - December 15, 2014) 

 Ellen Jeanne Batman, 61, died December 15, 2014 in Borger.

Services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 18, 2014, at Memory Gardens Mausoleum, with Rev. Albert Maggard, pastor of First Pentecostal Holiness Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Batman was born May 26, 1953 in Pittsburg, California. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1966 and was a 1971 graduate of Pampa High School. She married Melvin Batman on July 20, 1974 in Pampa at the Zion Lutheran Church. Ellen graduated from Frank Phillips College in 1979 with a LVN degree. She was a nursery LVN at Pampa Regional Medical Center for 17 years. She was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, George and Donna Sturgill; a grandson, Daniel Batman and a sister, Leona Mae Sturgill.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin Batman of the home; a son, Christopher Batman of Amarillo; a grandson, Dante Batman of Amarillo; a sister, Diana Glass of Sacramento, California; four brothers, Frank Sturgill of Enid, Oklahoma, George Sturgill, Jr., of Sacramento, California, Larry Sturgill and John Sturgill, both of Fort Worth.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
