James C. Weyandt James C. Weyandt (Jim), 53, passed away July 30, 2007 at his residence in Austin, Texas. He was born on September 24, 1953 in Pampa, Texas. Jim moved to Austin in 1971 and attended the University of Texas. He worked with Campbell/Newman Estate Sales and was also a hair dresser. He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Mildred Weyandt, sister Patricia Stevenson, and nephew Kyle Weyandt. Survivors include his sister, Bonnie Guidry of Beaumont, Texas; three brothers, Glenn Weyandt, Jr. of Friendswood, Texas, Tom Weyandt of Glen Rose, Texas; David Weyandt of Granbury, Texas; two nieces; and five nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at University Presbyterian Church, 2203 San Antonio Street. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.

Jim was a quiet gentle soul that it was my pleasure to be acquainted with. We didn't hang together much out of school but I enjoyed his company at school. Besides my usual pals I guess I thought of him often and wondered how he was getting along. It saddens me to see him gone.
