Larry Gene Yearwood, 61, of Greenville, passed away July 19, 2014, at his home. Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, in the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home chapel in Emory. Bro. Kenneth Ballard will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Forbis Cemetery in Emory. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service (1-2 p.m.) at the funeral home chapel.

Larry was born in Pampa on Dec. 15, 1952, to Velma Jean Yearwood. He worked at L3 in Greenville for many years.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Jon Yearwood of Greenville; daughter Kimberly Dawn Yearwood of McKinney; companion and best friend of 17 years, Brenda Heath of Greenville; a sister, Brenda O’Dell of Pampa; two aunts,  Dorothy Yearwood of Pampa, and Jerry Lee Yearwood of Riverside, Calif.; friend Jesse Heath of Greenville; work friend  Pat Porch of Sulphur Springs; faithful little companions Oscar and Izzy; and numerous other loving family and friends.

He was preceded by his mother; grandparents Elmer and Bertha Yearwood; a brother, Billy Bush; and an aunt and uncle, Leona and Jessie Smart.
