I read that Nan Blanda is related to George Blanda- football legend. What I remember of Nan Blanda was she was a cheerleader. I am sure she had some good memories of High School. I didn't have all that much school spirit. Her life was so short the good times had to be great times! I am sure I saw her many times through-out the school years of 10th-11th and 12th.

If anyone deserves a great comment here it is Nan.  Nan was one of the kindest and sweetest people I have ever met.  She was friendly to all, a very astute and personable person.  One of my regrets in life is that I did not take the time to go visit her after I heard she was ill.  It came quickly and I did not know how, at the time, to tell her what I thought of her.  She has been missed.  Nan was one of the best or the best.

Nan was one of my good friends.  She grew up across the street from me.  As pretty, and well liked as she was, she was always there for me.  I visited her her many times when she was at home battling the terrible disease that eventually got the best of her.  I trully miss her, as  have since her passing, which I believe was in 1972
