BIOGRAPHY: Denise was born May 3, 1953 in Pampa to Troy and Jean Bennett. She graduated from Pampa High School in 1972. She had been a resident of the Austin area since the late 1970's, returning to Pampa in 2006 to care for her parents. She married Howard Pfutzenreuter on November 20, 1994 in Austin. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
SURVIVORS: husband: Howard Pfutzenreuter of the home; a son: Aemon Layton of Pampa; 2 sisters: Debbie Farrar and husband Larry of Southlake, and Darla Hoskins-Travis and husband Scott of Rockdale; a grandson: Jaymison King of Pampa; 3 nieces and 1 nephew. She was preceded in death by her father: Troy Bennett on February 3, 2008, a son: Justin King on September 4, 1994. Denise's death preceded her mother's death by a day.
