Mona Pauline DeLancy, 67 years old, of Pampa, gained her Angel wings in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 25, 2020 In Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on June 13, 1953 to Ken and Nadine Westbrook in Pampa, TX.

Having been a lifelong resident, she attended Pampa Schools and graduated Pampa High School with the Class of 1971.  She had owned and operated Mona's Dog Grooming for some forty plus years. While doing so, she also enjoyed participating in the Panhandle Kennel Dog Shows In Amarillo. Her dog of choice to show was AKC registered Pomeranians. She was very much an advocate for animals and supported the PAWS program as much as she could. She often referred to her dogs as her kids. Mona married Bo DeLancy on July 6, 2000. She enjoyed traveling to Oklahoma with Bo to visit his family on occasion. She was a relatively simple person. She enjoyed shopping, planting flowers in her garden, browsing around flea markets, eating supper off the tailgate while sitting by the lake, attending local social events, taking care of he family and trying to spread happiness to those around her. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mark Westbrook, mother-in-law, Geneva DeLancy; brothers-in-law, Cecil Walker, Larry Thompson and nephew , Daniel Walker.

Those she has left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Bo DeLancy of Pampa, son, Keith DeLancy and wife Kristy of Enid, OK; Daughter, Christal Spears and husband Jeremy of Pampa; brother, Cliff Westbrook and wife Ada of Pampa; sisters, Glenda Walker, Marie Thompson, both of Pampa; sisters-in-law, Georgetta Barton and husband Ray of McAlester, OK, Brenda DeLancy of Liberty MO, Patricia Cross of Drumright, OK; six grandchildren, Colten, Kaden, Caliegh, Jude, Lenon, Allen; numerous nieces and nephews and her precious "babies" Lucy and Jake.
